Acknowledging that schools no longer reflect but, in fact, build community, the leader proactively creates with staff, opportunities for parents/guardians, community, and business representatives to participate as “stockholders” in the school such that continued investment of resources and good will are not left to chance.

Community Engagement
Martin Millennium has a strong partnership with parents and the community. Each year, the school hosts several events to engage the community. As a school leader, I supported and attended each event, welcoming our guests. Below you will find an image taken from the school's spaghetti dinner, walk to school day, community readers, and the PTO sponsored St. Patrick's Day dance.
All Pro-Dads
Martin Millennium Academy saw a need to represent and celebrate the male figures in our scholars' lives. As a result, I worked with a team in bringing "All Pro-Dad's to the school. This program is designed to bring intentional focus to fathers and provide strategies for fatherhood. Below are images of the planning team and our first All Pro-Dad's celebration.

IEP and Manifestation Meetings
In order to assure schools are meeting the needs of all students, I worked closely with the exceptional children teachers to comply with district, state and federal mandates. I served as liaison for several IEP and manifestation meetings. Below you will find a copy of emails with calendar invites and information regarding the meetings.
